We Heart PiP Studio!

Kiki’s Boutique is delighted and very excited to introduce to you a lovely new brand we will be selling in our shops and online.

The name of the brand is PiP Studio, and I feel the best way to enlighten you of the wonderful things available is by telling you more about Pip herself, the creator and reason behind the beautiful ideas that go into the collections.

As I was researching the brand I found myself to be a little in awe of the care and sheer responsibility Pip puts into her creations. There are no barriers to keep out nosy parkers like myself and she speaks openly about where her endearing inspiration comes from, allowing access to her secrets and stories of her past.

Originally from the Netherlands, Pip’s real name is Catharina, but everyone knows her by her nickname. Pip was the first word that she ever spoke and her brothers just started calling her that from there on. The rest of the family soon followed and these days no one knows any different. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts, Pip decided to buy an old run down Victorian house. She fell in love at first sight of the house and built a studio in the attic in which she would create a world of wonder and delightful things, thus, PiP Studio was born.

Pip states that her inspiration comes from the things she always wanted, but could never find- what a simple yet marvellous outlook to live by. Sometimes the plainest everyday things will open a whirlwind of imagination which is then sourced into Pip’s creations. She critically pays attention to the tiniest segments of details, yet still provides a warm and intimate character to her products.

Pip’s relaxed manner, yet drive to do her utmost best in bringing to life her ideas is why we are so excited to stock her beautiful pieces. There is a real heart-felt vibe that comes with the range, which I am certain you will love.
